DESCRIPTION:Join Family Achievement Center for their 8th annual Move to Your Own Groove! Move to Your Own Groove is a fun walk\, run and roll for all abilities from walkers\, wheelchairs to elite runners. Join us Sunday\, September 13th at Colby Lake Park in Woodbury\, MN. Register for Move to Your Own Groove on EventBrite. \nMove to Your Own Groove has three different distances including 50 meters\, 1k & 5k. This event is open to all and you don’t have to be a current patient to participate. \nAll proceeds will go to Family Achievement Foundation\, a non-profit for caregivers on a challenging journey. If you are unable to attend the event but would still like to donate\, click here.\nWalkers\, wheelchairs and medically approved adaptive bikes are all allowed on the course. DESCRIPTION:Are looking to connect with other families who are raising children with special needs or challenging medical diagnoses? Join our Peer-to-Peer Support Group to share experiences\, get advice or simply build friendships and connections. Our next Peer-to-Peer Support Group is launching this fall.\n\nJoin us for our kickoff informational meeting on Wednesday\, September 16th at 7 PM. This meeting is simply informational and you are not obligated to join our support group – we’re simply here to provide information and answer any questions you may have.\n\nRegister by September 4\, 2026 by filling out the form on the Peer-to-Peer Family Support Program page or emailing peersupport@familyachieve.org.\n\nFor those that choose to continue\, the peer-to-peer support program will then continue with pairs or small groups of families who share similar dynamics\, challenges\, and/or diagnoses\, connected through the Family Achievement Foundation for those that continue to be interested.
