The one day retreat will offer respite\, connection\, and resources to caregivers and parents on a challenging journey. The retreat is open to parents (and caregivers) who would benefit from time away while connecting with other caregivers and parents. The retreat will be hosted by foundation founders Sarah Mason and Tom Hoel at their home on the bluffs of the St. Croix River in Hudson\, Wisconsin surrounded by natural beauty\, walking paths\, and peaceful views of the St. Croix River. Tom and Sarah know firsthand the oftentimes chronic stress in caring for children\, and are hopeful of creating an informational\, fun\, and restful weekend away for our parents. \nThe retreat will offer multiple different experiences\, speakers and activities. All participants will leave at the end of the evening with a completed profile (up to 5 copies) and editable document to update over the years as things change. \nParticipants should bring their own laptop if able. Computers will be available for those needed and editable document will be emailed to you. \n  \nFormat for Evening: Brief description/summary of the profile\, information that can be important to include\, and who it can be shared it. Following the brief description\, all participants will work the hosts (ST\, OT\, and Parent) to create an individualized document for their child(ren).
